Applications

(1) STPP is used as water retention agent, quality improver, pH regulator, metal chelating agent. It can be used for the curing of raw meat and the production of canned ham.

 

 

(2) STPP can be used as a quality modifier in canned, fruit juice (fruit flavored) drinks and vegetable protein drinks.

 

(3) STPP is used as an additive for washing products, and can also be used in petroleum, metallurgy, mining, paper making, water treatment, etc. It is mainly used as an auxiliary for synthetic detergent, as a soap synergist and to prevent grease precipitation and frosting of bar soap.
