Mannitol remains unfermented by oral bacteria and suppresses the proliferation of Streptococcus mutans, thus serving as a key ingredient in producing anti-caries sweets. Recognized by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, polyol-based sugar-free products, including mannitol, can bear the label "No dental caries."

 

(3)Craft refreshing mannitol chewing gum. With a sweetness measuring 0.6 of sucrose and an endothermic dissolution of -29Cal/g, mannitol is ideal as a sweetener and flavor enhancer in chewing gum manufacturing, presenting a cool and pleasant taste experience.
