Taurine

       Taurine, also known as β-aminoethanesulfonic acid, was first isolated from bovine yellow, hence its name. The pure product is colorless or white oblique crystals, odorless, and taurine has stable chemical properties. It is a sulfur-containing non protein amino acid that does not participate in protein biosynthesis in the body, but it is closely related to the metabolism of cysteine and cysteine.
